No beauty product can quite replicate that post workout glow like a good sweaty work out can.
There are many health benefits of working up a sweat but lets focus on the beauty benefits for a sec:
It helps clear up your skin by opening your pores and releasing toxins, oil and bacteria that can get caught in them and would otherwise cause a breakout!
HOWEVER it is important to note that you should always wash your face ASAP after a good sweat sesh. Letting the sweat sit on your skin will just send all that oil and gunk back into your pores and cause more breakouts or skin irritations.
It releases endorphin’s which help decrease cortisol (the stress hormone) this is important as stress can lead to breakouts and premature aging.
It helps your body produce more collagen which is a protein that keeps your skin looking firm and young.
It sends oxygenated blood to your face/ skin which keeps your skin glowing for hours after a workout.
Tell us in the comments, what’s your favourite way to work up a sweat?
If you use makeup brushes to apply your makeup it is really important that you clean them at least once a week! Gross bacteria can build up on your brushes and cause breakouts and skin irritations and in really severe cases skin infections. It will also help your brushes last longer and stay in good condition because they won’t have old, makeup, oil and grime building up on them.
There are a few different ways you can wash your brushes but here is what I have found to be the most efficient way of cleaning them:
Use either a silicone brush cleaning mat (you can get cheap ones off ebay), a rubber or silicone oven glove that has the ridges in it or a lego mat/ base palate. If you don’t have any of these just use your hand however it will take a bit longer to clean them.
Wet all your brushes.
Then get a shampoo, I like to use the Redwin tea tree oil shampoo because it is cheap and the tea tree is anti bacterial.
Wet your cleaning mat, put some shampoo on it and then swirl the brush around on the ridges, rinse with cold water and repeat until the brush is clean.
Lie your brushes out to dry on a towel, preferably in the sun.
Don’t pack your brushes away until they are completely dry, as damp brushes can be a breeding ground for bacteria.

We all want healthy, sexy hair. All hair has the potential for being beautiful, you just have to take care of it the right way. Here are 7 tips for healthy hair.
Don’t Wash Your Hair Too Much
A lot of people over-wash their hair. You should only wash your hair every day if you have really oily hair. If you can get by with skipping a day or two or three, then you should. Your hair needs its own natural oils and when you wash your hair you are stripping your hair of its natural oils. Also, using a dry shampoo in between washes can be really helpful!
Shampoo Your Scalp
When shampooing, you should really focus on your scalp and let the rest of your hair get cleansed by the shampoo running down your head. Again, your hair thrives from its natural oils, your scalp is the part that needs cleansing.
Condition Your Tips
Using conditioner on your tips will give your hair the shine and smooth quality that you desire, while not weighing down your hair by using it all over. Definitely avoid the scalp when conditioning so that your hair does not fall flat and heavy around your face.
Avoid Sulfates, Silicones, and Alcohol
When shopping for your shampoo and conditioner, look for bottles without sulfates, silicones, and alcohol. These substances dry your hair out, cause frizziness, and damage your hair.
Use Coconut Oil
Coconut oil is a Godsend! It has so many uses, including repairing hair! Coconut oil makes your hair feel light, smooth, and healthy! Use it weekly to keep your hair looking healthy!
Use Heat Protecting Spray
Applying heat to your hair can certainly damage it, so you should try not to use hot tools as much as possible. If you can plan it out to let your hair air dry and avoid hot styling tools, that would be best. But, lots of women have to use hot styling tools to get the hairstyle they want…so apply a heat protector before styling! Your hair will thank you.
Eat Well
Eating leafy greens and healthy fats will make your hair appear younger, shiny, bouncy, and just healthy overall. Eat good to feel good all over, including hair!

In fact if you follow this tip you will only spend about $15 max every 3-4 month on tinting your brows.
