Did T Swift Approve Kanye’s Song Famous?

A recent interview in GQ with Kim Kardashian West has brought up the ongoing feud between her husband Kanye West and Taylor Swift. Kim said that Kanye and Taylor spoke on the phone and everything was fine, she approved the song. T Swift says otherwise.

Back in February of this year Kanye released his album The Life of Pablo at his Yeezy Season 3 show during New York Fashion Week. One of the songs on his album, Famous, says “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/ Why? I made that bitch famous” …about Taylor Swift, of course.

After the song came out, Taylor Swift won album of the year (the only woman to win twice at the Grammy’s) and gave a speech that seemed to be a dis at Kanye. She said “there are going to be people along the way who will try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or fame”….I think that’s pretty clearly Kanye.

Since then, the two have gone back and forth about this. Kanye says he spoke with Taylor and she was cool with everything. T Swift says she did not know the specific lyrics and did NOT approve the song.

Recently, there have been rumors about Taylor Swift’s lawyers threatening Kanye West to destroy a phone conversation between the two discussing the song….which leads people to believe that there is a recorded phone conversation in which T Swift does give approval for the song Famous. Hmmm….could it be that the girl next door is lying for the sake of her reputation? We may find out soon enough if a recording pops up.

In the meantime, she seems to be straying away from the girl next door vibe with her new edgy look and getting pretty cozy with Tom Hiddleston just a couple weeks after her breakup with Calvin Harris.
