Summer is on it’s way here in Australia which means pool parties, beach days and bikini shopping. So what better way to help get your body summer ready than replacing one of your daily meals with a nutritious green smoothie. Here are 4 recipes to get you started.

Matcha Strawberry Smoothie

Ingredients 
1/4 avo
Juice 1/2 lemon
2cm knob ginger
Handful strawberries
1 cup milk of choice
2 teaspoons matcha powder

Chuck all ingredients in a blender and blend until well combined.

 

Super Green Smoothie

Ingredients 
1½ cups water
1 cucumber
1 handful of baby spinach
2 stalks organic celery
¼ apple
Juice of ½ lemon
Small knob of ginger
Add ½ banana if you want it to be sweeter

Whiz in a blender until smooth and well combined.

Tangy Minty Fresh Smoothie

1 cucumber peeled
Juice of 1 lime
Small handful of mint leaves
1/2 green apple
1.5 cups water

Wizz all ingredients in a blender.

Avocado Thick Shake

1/2 Avocado
1 tbsp flax seed meal
1 pear sliced
1/2 banana
1 cup almond milk
1 tsp cinnamon
